Race Across America crosses Missouri

According to a Daily Peloton article:
This year’s RAAM has been a cavalcade of occurrences, heroics and disappointments.

Jefferson City, Missouri, has embraced RAAM. A small crowd has gathered to wait for more riders to race by as Danny Chew entertains the crowd with stories of his eight RAAMs. . . .

In 105 hours, Mike Trevino has ridden 1,661 miles from San Diego to somewhere very near Jefferson City where strangers are camping out the night to glimpse his ambition.
The Race Across American (RAAM) website has maps of the route and current race status.
