According to a Daily Peloton article:
This year’s RAAM has been a cavalcade of occurrences, heroics and disappointments. The Race Across American (RAAM) website has maps of the route and current race status.
Jefferson City, Missouri, has embraced RAAM. A small crowd has gathered to wait for more riders to race by as Danny Chew entertains the crowd with stories of his eight RAAMs. . . .
In 105 hours, Mike Trevino has ridden 1,661 miles from San Diego to somewhere very near Jefferson City where strangers are camping out the night to glimpse his ambition.
