Tour de France roundup

A few interesting Tour de France links:
- "The hardware that makes Armstrong an unstoppable cycling machine"--from Wired Magazine.
- Listen to the tour live (free and in English) (click "listen live") [via STLBikeFed@topica.com]
- Live internet video stream of TDF--costs only $16.50. Website is in Danish and so is the audio, but you can mute that and listen to the live audio in English from the above link, or via the OLN guys here. [via STLBikeFed@topica.com]
- Nice biography of Lance Armstrong, from the KCStar.
- A nice roundup of tour terms, racing strategy, and other interesting info, from Trek.
- Last and not least--when Missouri was left off the initial list of 19 states showing Stage 13 on the silver screen as a benefit for the Tyler Hamilton Foundation, we begged and pleaded to get a theatre in Missouri. The Tyler Hamilton Foundation pulled through for us and now we need to pull through for them. This event does cost, but it's supporting a good cause AND . . . you may never get the chance to see the tour on a THEATER SCREEN (talk about blowing your puny big screen TV away . . . ).
View the Stage 13 of the Tour de France on the Silver Screen--a benefit for the Tyler Hamilton Foundation.
As of 9 July 2004, this event is nearly sold out in Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington, D.C. C'mon guys--are we really going to let TEXAS beat us?
