Support saving the Katy Trail Bridge at Boonville by calling 866-768-3987
Submitted by Brent Hugh on Mon, 03/28/2005 - 6:21am
[UPDATE 29 March 2005: The phones were also very congested Tuesday March 29th. I'm sure they would still welcome calls Wednesday or even after. If you can't get through by phone you might try Senator Stouffer's email (select "Bill Stouffer" as the recipient).]
I just heard from Paula Shannon of the "Save the Katy Bridge Committee" that Monday & Tuesday, March 28-29 are call-in days for people to show support of saving the Katy Bridge at Boonville for Katy Trail use.
If you support saving the Katy Bridge, call toll-free
They are specifically asking for people from ACROSS THE STATE who support saving the bridge to call.
More details and background about this issue are here.
According to Shannon, the governor has had many conversations on this issue with Senator Stouffer, who represents the Boonville area. However, the governor has not yet made a decision on this issue.
