Anonymous Donor gives $2500 and a challenge to MoBikeFed supporters
Submitted by Brent Hugh on Fri, 12/30/2005 - 9:26pm
MoBikeFed members & supporters,
I just found out today that an anonymous donor has made a major contribution of $2500 to the Missouri Bicycle Foundation.
The Anonymous Donor is our first Platinum Level Patron during the year-end appeal.
The Anonymous Donor challenges other supporters of Missouri bicycling and walking to match his donation, either individually or collectively.
I realize that many of you have donated this season already. Many thanks to one and all. We really, really, really couldn't do it without you.
Also--in order to meet our financial needs and keep Missouri bicycle moving forward, our goal is to raise $10,000 in our end-of-year appeal and an additional $10,000 during our Bike Month appeal in May.
So if we raise more than $10,000 in the end-of-year appeal then we will cut the Bike Month appeal short by that amount. In fact, if we could raise $20,000 in our end-of-year appeal we could skip the Bike Month appeal altogether . . .

You can also mail your tax deductible donation with name, address, email, and (if you wish) a dedication or name of a person you are donating in honor of:
Happy New Year!
