Work begins on 16-mile Ruby Jack Trail near Joplin

An article in the Carthage Press mentions the soon-to-be-completed Ruby Jack Trail, a project of the Joplin Trails Coalition:
[t]he Ruby Jack Trail . . .will soon open a hiking/biking opportunity all the way from Carthage to Carl Junction. Construction of the path from the trailhead parking lot to the trail should begin this week. A safe hiking/biking trail is something Carthaginians have not had before.
More on the history of the trail in the Joplin Globe, KODE TV, and on MoBikeFed News.<?PHP $tags="joplin trails coalition, ruby jack trail, trails, railtrails, joplin"; ??>
