Please pre-register now for BikeMo 2006--October 14th, 2006.
Celebrate the Missouri Bicycle Federation's many successes this year with us, as we enjoy the fall foliage and
beautiful roads of central Missouri on this new ride featuring
Century, Metric Century (62 miles), and Half-Metric (32 miles) routes.
Time & place: Saturday, Oct 14th, 2006, 9AM, starting at Holt's Summit Plaza, Holt's Summit, MO, five miles north of Jefferson City on Hwy 54.
BikeMO showcases the countryside,
autumn leaves, and fine rural roads of Callaway county this year.
The ride will begin at 9AM because of the season and to allow time that morning for cyclists from Kansas City, St. Louis, and other areas of the state to travel to the starting point.

With preregistration the ride is only $20/individual, $15/student, $40/family. Day of event registration will be $25 per person, no exceptions.

The BikeMO RoutesThe BikeMO routes are three of the most beautiful loops through rural, scenic mid-Missouri. Most of the routes are on low-traffic, two-lane country roads.
Most of the route can be described as gently rolling hills and some segments are quite flat. But every so often there are some really steep or substantial hills--for instance on the segment of the Century route between Readsville and Fulton, and the section of the 32-mile route on Highway H.
The route passes through or along many sections of the
Mark Twain National Forest and wildlife conservation areas--for instance, the route passes through, along, or near the
Pine Ridge Campground, the
Cedar Creek Trail,
Carrington Pits Recreation Area, the
Cedar Creek Unit of Mark Twain National Forest, the
Little Dixie Lake Conservation Area, the
Prairie Fork Conservation Area, the
Reform Conservation Area.
