Sample letters, proclamations in support of the Complete Katy Trail

Businesses, organizations, cities, counties, park departments, individuals, and agencies may use the following sample forms to register their support for the Complete Katy Trail and for the Quad-State Trails Vision.
These governments, organizations, agencies, and individuals have endorsed the idea of connecting the Katy Trail to Kansas City:

Individuals
- Sample resolution or proclamation, that mayors, county executives, cities, counties, parks boards, or other organizations can adapt and adopt. Available in Word DOC format or PDF format
- A simpler, shorter version of the resolution that may be more acceptable or easier to use in some situations. Available in Word DOC format or PDF format
- Sample letter of support, including contact information, available in Word DOC format or PDF format
- Petition, available in Word DOC format or PDF format. Print the petitions, have citizens sign them, then return as instructed.
- Online "two-minute" advocacy form. Encourage your members or citizens to use this online form to submit comments in support of the Katy Trail connection to Kansas City:
