7 & 13 DEC 2006: Public workshops on Columbia's PedNet Project

According to a Columbia Missouri article:
Columbia residents will get their chance to see the PedNet Project’s vision for bicycle and pedestrian commuting and comment on it at two public workshops, senior planner Ted Curtis said after Monday’s meeting of the PedNet Project’s executive committee.

The PedNet Project is the name of the Non-motorized Transportation Pilot Program created by a $21 million federal grant.
These workshops will be one of the main points for public input into Columbia's plan:

* Dec. 7, 6-8 PM at the Reichmann Pavillion, Stephens Lake Park, 2300 E. Walnut St., Columbia
* Dec. 13, 6-8 PM at the city's Activities and Recreation Center, 1702 W. Ash St., Columbia
