As if the usual roundup of exhibits and music at First Friday Art Walk isn't enough to lure you downtown, tonight's event might leave you spinning with choices.Register for Springfields Bike-Bus-Walk Week on the Ozark Greenways web site.
For one thing, South Avenue is blocked between McDaniel and Walnut streets for a "partially car-free" event, co-sponsored by Ozark Greenways. Here, artists demonstrate their talents outdoors while visitors hear music by The Hooligans.
Ozark Greenways officials are also registering people for their May 14-18 Bike Bus Walk Week. In fact, visitors are encouraged to ride a city bus for free tonight between downtown, Commercial Street and Drury University's Pool Art Center.
