Springfield couple bicycles the Ozarks
posted by Brent Hugh at 7/05/2007 08:04:00 AM
A Springfield News-Leader article tells about a Springfield couple who each bicycle 5,000 to 10,000 miles each year:
Bill and Terry Griffin ride the heck out of their Bianchi road bikes. They pedal the back roads of the Ozarks, reveling in the rural serenity of southwest Missouri. Terry likes to shoot photos along her routes; beauty lies on frozen fence rows and wide-planked beams of decades-old barns. For Bill, treks through the hills, hollows and flats along strips of roadway gift exercise and an inspiration sometimes set to song.
