KC's Critical Mass a growing phenomenon
Submitted by Brent Hugh on Wed, 09/05/2007 - 8:54pm
The time isn't so far past when Kansas City's monthly Critical Mass ride rarely attracted more than 5 riders.
Well, times change--now KC Mass routinely brings in 50-80 participants on the last Friday of each month.
The ride proceeds slowly through KC's midtown and Plaza area--a "wonderful bicycle party parade", as one participant has described it.
Kansas City's Critical Mass starts from the Sunfresh parking lot on Mill Street between Southwest Trafficway and Westport Road. Meet at 6PM and ride about 6:30.
