Submitted by Anonymous on Tue, 11/13/2007 - 6:04pm
This Sunday, St. Louis and Kansas City will both host Cranksgiving rides. These are rides where cyclists go to various grocery stores collecting food items that are then donated to local food pantries.
St. Louis Cranksgiving starts at noon at BicycleWorks near Tower Grove Park.
KC Cranksgiving starts at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri Department of Conversvation's Discovery Center, near the Country Club Plaza. The KC event is an alleycat race, including awards for winners of various categories. A party follows with bands, food, and refreshments.
