Even non-bicyclists can see the benefits of encouraging more bicycling by focusingon the practical details like providing more and better bike parking. The Urban Review STL blog calls for more bike parking in St. Louis and changing the city's development laws to better promote non-motorized transportation.
Elsewhere in Missouri... In 2004 Springfield adopted a city ordinance requiring bicycle parking for new businesses. And Kansas City is working on including a bike parking requirement in its new planning and zoning ordinance. Labels: parking
