Thanks to all the volunteers from across the state, MoBikeFed board members, our lobbyist Jim Farrell, and the help of everyone from across the state who emailed or called their own legislators, Missouri Bicycle Day at the Legislature was a big success this year.
We had around 40 people in attendance from as far away as Kirksville and East Prairie, had antique bicycles and Levi Leipheimer's bicycle on display in the capitol rotunda, were introduced on the floor of the House of Representatives, gave awards to key state leaders including the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, the Attorney General, the Speaker of the House and many others, and we visited office of every one of the 197 Missouri state senators and representatives.
