Wildwood MO votes to remove bicycle lanes

A Suburban Journals article outlines a recent development in Wildwood:
The Wildwood City Council has voted 9-5 to remove bicycle lanes on Pierside Lane between Manchester Road and Waterside Drive.

The council also agreed to not consider bike lanes for Waterside.
The actions came after residents, including some in the Harbors of Lake Chesterfield subdivision, complained the bike lanes are causing problems.
Representatives from TrailNet and the St. Louis Regional Bicycle Federation are working to identify the issues and possible next steps in dealing with this situation.
