BicycleWORKS featured in St. Louis Post-Dispatch

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has a nice feature on St. Louis BicycleWORKS--a volunteer organization that teaches kids how to bicycle safely, how to work on their bicycle, and then provides them with a bike.

Dick Fonner of BicycleWORKS says: "We take small groups of kids and right now we're doing a four week program: Basic bicycle familiarization and maintenance, riding skills, rules of the road. When the kids finish, they get a bicycle, helmet, a lock, and lights. And hopefully, some self-respect, a good feeling about themselves, and the ability to go out and ride safely."
