There's some pretty strong stuff here:
He said to me, "Surgeon General, what's the most pressing issue issue before you today?" And I said, "Obesity."Exaggeration? Fear-mongering? Or just laying out the true scope of a problem our country has waited too long to address?
It is destroying us, destroying our society, from within.
This generation of children is the heaviest in American history.
We may be producing a generation of children whose life expectancy isn't as long as our own.
The obesity epidemic is a threat to our national security.
61% of our active military are currently listed as overweight--we're not going to have a workforce that's healthy.
