Missouri Livable Streets training coming to Warsaw Sept 27th, Raytown Oct 10th
Cities across Missouri are adopting Complete Streets or Livable Streets policies to improve the safety and livability of their neighborhoods. A livable street is one that allows residents of all ages and abilities to safely walk, bike, or wheel to their destinations.
Would you like to have YOUR city adopt a Complete Streets policy?
Two upcoming trainings will give you the tools you need to get Complete Streets/Livable Streets rolling in your community:
Warsaw, MO Livable Streets Advocacy Training
September 27th, 5:30 pm - 8 pm

The Livable Streets Advocacy Training will give you the tools and resources to get a livable streets or complete streets policy for your city. The training will include the basics of planning and executing an effective advocacy campaign, identifying and influencing decisions makers, and building community support.
The audience for this training is anyone in a city without a Complete Streets or Livable Streets policy - including concerned citizens, neighborhood leaders, public health advocates, community activists, educators, parents, health care advocates, urban design advocates, and more.
The training is free and open anyone in the area of the training who is interested in learning more.
Visit the Missouri Livable Streets web site for more information about the trainings and Livable Streets in Missouri.
