Senators: @clairecmc  @RoyBlunt
Representatives:  @RepToddAkin  @RepCarnahan  @repcleaver  @RepHartzler  @VickyHartzler  @JoAnnEmerson @auctnr1 (Billy Long)

Here are some sample tweets you can use:

Hey [@RepresentativeX]: #ibikeivote, Support a clean extension of the transpo bill and Petri amend #nbs12

Hey [@SenatorX]: #ibikeivote, Pls support clean extension of the transportation bill #nbs12

Hey [@RepresentativeX]: Remember the freedom of ur first #bike? Support bike funding in the #transportation bill! #ibikeivote #nbs12

The Petri Amendment is in the House, so include that in tweets to Reps only.  (FYI Petri is pronounced PEA-try.)

It may feel like one tweet to you, but it makes a big difference.

Call or Email Your Representatives

Even if you have called or emailed before, calling today helps even more because of those personal meetings we're having today.

 - Email or (better) call their office with this message:

Please support dedicated funding bicycling and walking in the federal transportation bill.  It very inexpensive, very cost-effective, and is very important to me (give an example or two explaining why).  I support the message of the Missouri delegation to the National Bike Summit who will be visiting your office tomorrow.

 - For Senators, ask: "Please support a clean extension of the transportation bill."

 - For your House member ask: "Please support a clean extension of the transportation bill and the Petri Amendment."  (FYI Petri is pronounced PEA-try).
