Bike Week kicks off across Missouri

Bike Week kicked off today across Missouri--and remember, this is the FIRST year our state's bike month, bike week, and bike-to-work day activities have officially been part of the Missouri state holidays calendar, thanks to SB 180 and the work of bill sponsor Senator Will Kraus and many other supporters in the General Assembly during the 2011 legislative session.

Bike Week!
Bike Week!

Here are just a few of the many activities that have taken place across Missouri already:

Don't forget MoBikeFed's upcoming Bike Month events--the Clips of Faith Beer and Film Tours in St. Louis and Kansas City.  These events are great fun for everyone and are two of our most important fundraisers of the year, which help support or advocacy and legislative work in support of bicycling and walking:

  • Clips of Faith St. Louis
    Friday, May 18th, 2012
    7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
World's Fair Pavilion in Forest Park, St. Louis, MO

  • Clips of Faith Kansas City
    Thursday, May 31st, 2012
    7:00 pm. - 10:00 p.m.
    Theis Park (Volker Park)
48th and Rockhill Road on Brush Creek, Kansas City, MO

And most importand of all: It's Bike Month--get on your bike and go for a ride!
