St. Charles County: Five cities, county, and Great Rivers Greenway District to chip in to pay for study on replacement of the I-70 bridge over the Missouri River; new bridge could include bike/ped path creating another key connection between the Katy Trail and bike paths and routes in St. Louis County.

Route 66 State Park: Steps taken to preserve Route 66 bridge over Meramec River.  Preservation groups are interested in renovating the historic bridge for use by bicyclists and pedestrians.  The move to remove the deck will help preserve the bridge and buy time to put together a full restoration effort.

Wildwood: New section of Meramec River Greenways opens.

Kirksville: Jefferson Street to undergo road diet, add bicycle lanes. Jefferson is a major street in Kirksville and the Road Diet will be a major improvement in making the area safer and more accessible for bicycling and walking.

Kansas City: Line Creek Trail extension approved.  Kansas City north of the Missouri River has few trails or bicycle opportunities.  The Line Creek Trail has the potential to become a major connecting route through this area.

Hannibal: Implementing sidewalk plan will improve downtown.
