ALERT: Missouri Delegates a the National Bike Summit this week - Ask Congress to Support Biking & Walking
Missouri's Delegation to the National Bike Summit is in Washington, DC, this week. Wednesday and Thursday, we'll be visiting the offices of every Missouri member of Congress.
Will you support our visit to Washington DC by sending a message to your elected representatives in Washington?
Click here to ask your members of Congress to support bicycle & pedestrian safety
It only takes a couple of minutes to send a message to your Representative and Senators--and helps a LOT when we stop by the Congressional offices Wednesday and Thursday!
WHAT ARE WE ASKING CONGRESS TO DO THIS YEAR?
Federation transportation funding is in a crisis and the federal transportation bill expires later this year. That means that Congress will be making decisions over the next months that will affect access and safety for those of us to bicycle and walk for years to come.
At this year's National Bike Summit, we're laying the groundwork for those major changes by asking Congress to support Complete Streets, bicycle and pedestrian safety, and innovative funding solutions to help cities and towns across America build better, safer places to bicycle and walk while also keeping their budgets balanced.
Read all the details about what we will be asking for when we visit members of Congress this week, on MoBikeFed News.
THANK YOU for taking the time to contact your members of Congress. When you speak up in support of bicycling and walking, it really DOES make a difference!
