Missouri Bike Law - what does it say for motorists, for bicyclists | Promoting cooperation through understanding.

Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:

Too often, cyclists and motorists find themselves in a hostile posture as they share the roads. There is plenty of wrongdoing on both sides. Too often, uninformed cyclists ride dangerously, forcing motorists to react to difficult situations. And too often, motorists act as though cyclists have no right to use the road at all, engaging in hostile and sometimes dangerous actions.

To quote one of America’s most famous motorists, “Can we all get along?” We believe that by educating every user of Missouri roads about the rights and responsibilities of cyclists, hazard and hostility can be replaced with safety and civility.
