Bicyclists, runners, walkers may be added to mix along O'Fallon's busy Highway K : STLToday

Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:

An effort is underway to make Highway K, one of St. Charles County’s busiest commercial streets, more amenable to bicyclists, walkers and runners. . . .

Recreation isn’t the only goal of the plan. Simply making it easier to walk to and between the many stores, restaurants and other businesses along the road also is involved.

“If you drive down K right now, you’ll see bits and pieces of sidewalks and separated paths, but they don’t connect,” said city spokesman Tom Drabelle.
