MoBikeFed comment: Yet another nonmotorized fatality in Missouri this year. Our condolences go to the family and friends of Ms. Calhoun.A woman from Springfield died early Tuesday after her bicycle collided with a sport utility vehicle on Monday. Barbara Calhoun was 72 years old.

This type of fatality is very, very preventable. We need to find the political will in Missouri to make the changes to our transportation system that will make this type of fatality a thing of the past.
