Women Bike KC is all about providing the tools to support the health and empowerment of local women on bicycles, and ultimately participate in our community as riders and leaders. The Women Bike KC initiative was first launched on May 10, 2014, when BikeWalkKC hosted the KC Women’s Bike Summit. The summit included workshops ranging from riding with your kids to bike maintenance 101 and how to start bike touring. The event was a huge success with more than 150 women in attendance
