Greg Goodman, a 60-year-old Blue Springs resident and retired physical education teacher in the Blue Springs School District for 30 years, was embarking on Tour Divide 2015, a grueling 2,745-mile mountain bike race stretching from Banff in Canada along the Continental Divide to Antelope Wells, New Mexico, on the border of Mexico.
