A Carbondale man pleaded guilty to aggravated driving under the influence involving a death after a crash in November 14, 2014.
A man riding a bicycle died as a result of that crash.
Investigators say 23-year-old Seth Loyd admitted to driving under the influence the morning he he 33-year-old Matthew Dierker.
Dierker was riding his bicycle near the intersection of Old Highway 13 and Bigler Road in Carbondale, which is in Jackson County.
Witnesses told police they saw the car driven by Loyd swerve into the center of the road and then correct across the westbound lane and hit Dierker.
