Platte County recently completed a new section of the Prairie Creek Greenway Trail that will give residents in the Timber Park Meadows and New Bedford Falls subdivisions direct access to the trail.

The trail, which is located south of Platte City in unincorporated Platte County, is used by residents from the entire area. . . .

The trail loop when completed will extend about four miles, said Brian Nowotny, director of Platte County Parks and Recreation. About .2 of a mile of the trail on the east side of Running Horse Road has not been constructed.
