Calling themselves instigators of fun, Mike Denehy and Colin LaVaute have mixed bicycling, 5K runs, beer and live music into a growing business called Off Track Events.

"It's athletic runs and bike rides with a party twist," Denehy said. "So the idea was to take these traditional events, either bike rides or 5K runs, and really just put them on their heads and spin them around."

Off Track Events, which Denehy started in 2008, is responsible for numerous bicycle festivals in Missouri. One of it's most notable events is Pedaler's Jamboree, a two-day bike ride with live music on the Katy Trail that started eight years ago.
