Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:

Springfield has a growing network of 68 miles of greenway trails, and 72 miles of on-street bike routes.

We invite you to explore all of Springfield's greenway trails, and Public Works' on-street bike route network! The trails and routes have a long list of benefits - from fun and fitness, to transportation and environmental preservation. These corridors provide safe routes for bicycling and walking to work or school, and to explore our community. They also control storm water and filter pollution from our community's air and drinking water supply.

MoBikeFed comment: Springfield and Ozark Greenways have done an amazing job putting together a regional trails system. Take a look at the trails you can enjoy when visiting the Springfield area.
