Hundreds of cyclists will be in St. Joseph June 11 and 12 for Bicycle Across Missouri, also called the Big BAM.

Lindsay Bernard, sales and visitor relations manager for the St. Joseph Convention and Visitors Bureau, said the city is excited to have the bicyclists in town. The Big BAM is expected to bring in more than $300,000 for the city, Bernard said. That estimate is based on the number of cyclists registered and an average day spending.
