Missouri Livable Streets grew out of the efforts and vision of many local and state leaders over time. In 2010, Missouri Livable Streets was formed as a public-private partnership between state, local and private organizations and citizens to help more communities learn about the benefits of transportation planning for all users. Each year, more communities are choosing to write and implement their own policies.

Mission
The Missouri Livable Streets project seeks to support and improve the health, well-being and economic vitality of all people and communities across the state through transportation and active living policy development and education.
