Warrensburg area Spirit Trail set to move ahead Spring 2017 - Daily Star-Journal: Local

Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:

A meeting resolved Spirit Trail design issues, Johnson County Presiding Commissioner Bill Gabel said. . . .

Resolving about 30 issues last week means plans are on track to seek bids after final plans are approved, possibly in December, Gabel said.

Bids could be awarded in January, he said.

MoBikeFed comment: These are the types of issues that every trail project faces. It is good to see that local officials and leaders are working together to resolve them.

The Spirit Trail will connect Warrensburg to Whiteman Air Force Base through Knob Noster State Park.
