A man police say fled a traffic stop last year and fatally injured a bicyclist was sentenced Friday to seven years in prison.

Glenn D. Parchmon, 23, of the 1400 block of Granville Place, pleaded guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault, resisting arrest, two counts of armed criminal action and four misdemeanor counts of child endangerment.

Parchmon fled a traffic stop about 5:40 p.m. March 28, 2016, near Belt and Minerva avenues, ran a stop sign, crashed into a 2000 Oldsmobile and then swerved onto a sidewalk where he hit bicyclist Willie Graham.

Graham, 52, of the 4400 block of Labadie Avenue, went into a coma and died April 14. The driver of the Oldsmobile suffered a broken collarbone, court records say.
