The Rally is not an official part of the 2017 Missouri Active Transportation Summit, held in Jefferson City that same day, but is planned in conjuction with the Summit by the three organizations listed above, who support the Rock Island Trail.  Governor Greitens and Missouri State Parks will be deciding the fate of the Rock Island Trail in the near future.  More information here.
