Small Town and Rural Multimodal Networks - Case Studies: Lessons Learned

Since the release of the Small Town and Rural Multimodal Networks Guide (STAR Guide), many stakeholders have turned their attention toward implementation. How has it worked for other small towns and rural communities?

Panelists:
Tim Gustafson, AICP, Senior Associate, Alta Planning + Design
Stephen Steese, City Administrator, City of Easley, SC
Doby Class, Director of Public Works, City of Arcata, CA

MoBikeFed comment: This is an excellent guide and an excellent video discussion.

The STAR Guide is really excellent for small towns and rural communities, where there is a lot of energy right now for walking and bicycling in Missouri, but where resources are often scarce and specifics of design and implementation often far different than in large cities and suburbs.
