Join the Missouri Bicycle Federation in Jefferson City on Tuesday, February 16th, 2010, for the 4th annual Bicycle Day in Jefferson City. We will meet with legislators to ask them to help make a more bicycleable and walkable Missouri.
If you can't make it in person, you can help by calling/emailing your legislator in the lead-up to Advocacy Day. Just let them know we'll be visiting them on February 16th and you hope they will support bicycle and pedestrian issues.
We will make personal visits to Missouri legislators and their staff in the capital. These personal visits are by far the most productive way for us to build support for bicycling and walking issues in Missouri. We will meet and talk about the main issues early in the day, have simple printed materials you can use as a guide when talking, and will visit legislators in groups so you don't have to feel put on the spot.
