BikeMO 2009: MoBikeFed's Fall Foliage Extravaganza
| Description: | Celebrate the joy of bicycling with the Missouri Bicycle Federation, as we enjoy the fall foliage and beautiful roads of central Missouri on this ride featuring Century, Metric Century (62 miles), and Half-Metric (32 miles) routes. BikeMO, the annual ride in support of Missouri bicycle advocacy, is a fundraiser for the Missouri Bicycle Federation. Time & place: 3rd Saturday in October each year, 9AM, starting at Holt's Summit Plaza, Holt's Summit, MO, five miles north of Jefferson City on Hwy 54. BikeMO showcases the countryside, autumn leaves, and fine rural roads of Callaway county. The ride will begin at 9AM because of the season and to allow time that morning for cyclists from Kansas City, St. Louis, and other areas of the state to travel to the starting point. The ride will be only $20 with pre-registration (add $5 for registration the day of the event). Ride t-shirt is $10 extra. |
