Please submit your event

  • In a hurry? Just fill out the first 8 fields (through STATE and DISTRICT) and hit the Submit button. That's it!
  • To list your event in our print calendars, though, we really do need all the information.
  • If you have a lot of events contact webmaster@mobikefed.org about simple mass submission.
  • Event photos/graphics are strongly encouraged!
  • If your event is recurring (daily, weekly, or monthly) be sure to click on the "Repeat" tab (above) before submitting.

Photo or Graphic: A web link to a GIF, JPG, PNG or other similar photo or graphic related to your event. The graphic is displayed on the event's calendar page and helps it look more attractive. PLEASE include the http:// at the beginning of the link!
Event type: Choosing the right event type helps users find your event.
Distance options: Briefly describe the distance options for the event--for instance, '6, 18, and 32 mile options'
Ride Rating: If this event is a bicycle ride, choose the typical or preferred speed of riders. N/A = not applicable.
Free or pay: If your event has an entry fee OR requires pledges it is consider a 'Pay event'.'Some portions free' is, for example, a registration-required conference that has a few sessions open to the public for free.
Entry Fee: Briefly outline your entry fees; if a free event simply write "Free". Example: "$20/individual; $15/student; $50/family"
Entry Deadline: Briefly describe any entry deadline(s) you may have. Example: "Late entry fee after June 12th; No entries after June 20th." If you just raise the fee after a certain date, simply indicate the date here and the increased fee below.
Late fee: Indicate any higher entry fee after entry deadline
Charity Event: Does this event raise money for a charitable organization?
Pledges involved: Does the event involve pledges or fundraising responsibilities beyond the entry fee?
SAG Service?: Does the event include a SAG service to pick up participants who can't make it back on their own power? Choose "N/A" if not applicable
Organized food stops?: Does the event include organized food stops/feed zones? Choose "N/A" if not applicable
Marked route: Does the event include a marked route? Choose "N/A" if not applicable

Repeating Events--Important!--Read this Before Hitting "Save"

If your event repeats (daily, weekly, monthly), please be sure to click on the repeat tab (top of page) before hitting the "Save Event Information" button.

Oops--I made a mistake!

After you submit, view the calendar for the month of your event and click to view the event. If you notice any mistakes there is an "Edit" link near the bottom of the page.

My Event Didn't Change After I Edited It!

If you edit your event and go back to the event page, it will appear the same as it did before.

Don't panic--it's just because your browser has cached the old version of the event page. Hit the 'reload' button (ctrl-R or command-R on most browsers) and the new page will load with your changes.
