Transportation, recreation, health and fitness, sustainability, tourism, etc. are all on the agenda - and we will start with advocacy training to help you effectively communicate with your own Representative and Senator.
Awards MBF will also present our Friends of Bicycling awards to advocates, elected officials, public employees, and others who have made a significant contribution for bicycling in Missouri. Tentative Schedule 8:30am - Check in 9:10am-9:45am - Orientation and advocacy tranining All Day - Legislator visits 12:30pm - Awards Ceremony 5:30pm - Optional dinner Lodging, parking, transportation, dining Many options are available near the Capitol building. Amtrak trains stop in Jeff City twice a day. Bus/vanpool from St. Louis and Kansas City is being planned.
