The Race:The Lupus WolfRide GranFondo is a long-distance cycling event designed to raise awareness of Lupus and to raise funds to help improve the lives of those who suffer from the disease. With a start/finish in Columbia, IL, the routes are equivalent to the half iron and full ironman distances (56 & 112 miles), and a Family Fun Ride - Wolf Pup Route (21 miles). Held under a USA Cycling permit and designed for recreational cyclists and racers alike, the WolfRide has been called the "best organized charity cycling event in the region". Proceeds benefit the Lupus Foundation of America, Heartland Chapter.
The pre-registration fee is $50 and all riders will be expected to raise or personally contribute an additional $100 by the day of the ride for a total donation of $150. For teams guaranteed of 5 or more, the registration fee per person is $35 per person.

Course Description:A 21 mile course within a 56 mile course, double loop for the 112 mile- slightly rolling roads (some chip and seal), rest and refueling stops approximately every 10 miles.
Pre-Registration: Pre-Registration will be at wolfride.com. Pre-Registration online fee $50
Race Day Registration: Registration will be open at 7:00 am. Pre-registration closes 10 p.m. August 1st. Ride starts 8:00 a.m.
Directions: Bolm-Schuhkraft Park is in Columbia IL just off Highway 3 after you cross the JB Bridge, I-255.
