Route 66 Mother Road Bicycle Tour

Experience the thrill of seeing three states along  America's Mother Road (Route 66), from the unique vantage point of a bicycle.  Register before May 18, 2017 for the best rates and to be guaranteed a t-shirt.  Choose from a 15 mile out and back ride or 30, 45, 66+ or 100 mile loops.

Ride three states in one day.  66+ and 100 mile courses are in three states.


2017 Finisher medal for the first 100 registered.


Ride routes will be following historic Route 66 heading west through Carterville and Webb City.  Longer routes will include Kansas, Oklahoma and the following cities: Joplin, Galena, Riverton and Baxter Springs.  All routes 30 miles and longer will loop.  All rides will include cyclist friendly sections of  Historic US Route 66.  Approximate assent: 100 mile=2349 ft, 66+mile=1920 ft, 45 mile=1205 ft, 30 mile=662 ft, 12 mile=395 ft


Oklahoma is included on the 66+ and 100.


Register before May 18, 2017 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. $5 price increase after May 18. T-shirts will be in men's sizes.  Sign up via PayPal, localraces.com, active.com, or print and mail a registration form.   Day of ride registration will be available. Cash or check only for day of registrants.  T-shirts will not be available to day of registrants.

Severe weather will cancel the ride.  In the event of a cancellation all fees paid will be considered a donation to the Joplin Trails Coalition.
