Advocacy groups such as the MoBikeFed, working within the legal and political landscape of the state, are in my opinion the best way to effect long term changes in societal attitudes towards cyclists.

Membership and donations (pay online with credit card)

There are three ways you can contribute towards better, safer walking and bicycling in Missouri--mix or match any of the three:
1. Basic membership: Please start with basic membership!
2. Donation to MoBikeFed (501c4 - not tax deductible): $ Supports legislative work and advocacy in support of better, safer bicycling and walking.
3. Donation to the Foundation (501c3 - tax deductible): $ Supports education, outreach, promotion, and encouragement of more, better, safer walking and bicycling.

Note: Memberships and donations to MoBikeFed (#1 and #2 above) are not tax deductible. They support our effective, citizen-based advocacy and lobbying efforts.

If you would like give a tax-deductible donation towards bicycling in Missouri, please consider a gift to the Foundation (#3 above), in support of the Foundation's education and outreach programs.

We need your support to move issues like these forward:

  • a truly statewide Katy Trail--St. Louis to Kansas City--serving as the hub of an interconnected statewide and regional recreational trail system
  • bike/ped access across hundreds of Missouri bridges, the Missouri River, and other rivers
  • bike-friendly rumble strips
  • changing "No Bicycle Zone" policies
  • bike-friendly grates
  • state bicycle safety legislation

Suggested minimum donations

  • $10 for student/limited income membership
  • $25 for individual membership
  • $40 for household membership (all people living at one address)
  • $50 for club affiliation
  • $45 for business membership
  • $250 for corporate membership
