Description:
The La Harpe St. intersection has no pedestrian-activatable crossing. It is very difficult for bicycles to activate the magnetic signal-changer. Add pedestrian heads and a pedestrian crossing phase to the signal. Adjust the detector so that it detects and changes for bicycles properly; may need to mark the spot where bicyclists need to position so as to trigger the signal change.

Importance:
La Harpe is a good southern crossing for bicyclists in Kirksville.

Obstacles:
Most traffic signals in MO haven't been adjusted so as to detect bicyclists; may need to contact District 5 or others with experience in doing this.
