Description:
Add a bike lane for both directions on 40 highway from Vanbrunt Blvd. (31st street) in Kansas City to Blue Ridge cutoff. Currently there are no safe bike routes to get from the Kansas City or Raytown area to the west side of I435

Importance:
At both ends of the project there are a number of routes/streets to different parts of the city. Currently there are no marked bike routes that provide east to west access north of 95th street, to transistion across I435.

Obstacles:
The US40 bridge over I435, is not wide enough.
