Description:
Construct 5400' of multi-use bike/ped trail along State Route RA to connect Lee's Summit to Greenwood and James A. Reed wildlife area.

Importance:
New trail segment would provide bike/ped access to recreational opportunities at James A. Reed wildlife area. Could also serve as potential long term solution or alternative route for Katy Trail coming from south in Pleasant Hill and Greenwood. Trail would also link to existing 5 mile multi-use trail along Todd George Road in Lee's Summit that is located north of U.S. 50 Highway. Also provides safe bike/ped access to new elementary school constructed off of Ranson Road and serve planned Bailey Farm Park on the west side of Ranson Road
