Description:
Tenbrook Road is a collector road that intersects with Jeffco Blvd. This road links from Fox Campus at Jeffco, past the immediate commercial area at Jeffco/Tenbrook, to a dense residential area, as well as past two Churches and one church and associated school along Tenbrook Road. Quite often one will see pedestrian walking roadside to one of the nearby destinations mentioned. Tenbrook is currently 2 lanes road that has little to no shoulders. With sidewalks at Skyview and also at Sunvalley, constructing a 0.5 mile sidewalk will connect the two ends accommodate safe pedestrian and ADA compliant travel. The addition of a pedestrian signal at Jeffco and Tenbrook traffic signal will provide a safe crosswalk to connect to Fox campus.

Importance:
There are limiting factors: space and topography on both sides Tenbrook Road. The sidewalk will have to vary from side to side and include cross walks, curb cuts, and signage. However, since sidewalks are not proposed for both sides ? it is anticipated to cost less that a typical sidewalk project and still achieve the desired connection.

Obstacles:
Terrain such as hills on one side or the other, homes with short building setbacks, driveways approaches, mulitple street intersections, utilities and storm water drainage, are all obstacles that will challenge this project.
