Article I

Purposes

The Missouri Bicycle Federation, Incorporated, (hereinafter referred to as the "Corporation") has been formed for the purposes set forth in its certificate of Incorporation. The purpose of the Corporation, as adopted by its Board of Directors, are: to improve conditions for bicyclists at the state and local level and promote bicycling as environmentally friendly, healthful and enjoyable.

MoBikeFed's "Vision of Bicycling and Walking in Missouri" (PDF format) sums up years of conversations with MoBikeFed members, bicyclists, pedestrians, citizens, and officials across Missouri into a single document.

The vision lists concrete, measurable things MoBikeFed--with the cooperation of individuals, groups, agencies, and officials across the state--plans to accomplish in Missouri in the next 5-10 years.
