Total Eclipse of the Katy Bicycle Ride - Aug 21 2017 | @mostateparks
Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:
Experience the first total solar eclipse viewable in Missouri in nearly 150 years on a special Katy Trail bicycle ride. Because Katy Trail State Park is located in the “path of totality” of this historic eclipse, it will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to follow the “Total Eclipse of the Katy” and experience “Darkness during Daylight.”
The 36-mile ride will be from Rocheport to Jefferson City and is limited to 500 people. A $50 registration fee includes an eclipse Katy Trail t-shirt, water bottle, SAG support, special eclipse glasses and staff to provide information about the eclipse and how to safely view it
